My Photography Story.

I always loved taking photos ever since I was a little girl. It all began in the Albuquerque zoo where my uncle handed me his canon camera and something inside me clicked. I knew that was the beginning of a life long passion.

Throughout my middle school and high school years, I took digital and film photography classes and learned different photography styles and settings.

During the 2020 pandemic, I began taking photos of my college roommate and bff, Kaylin, frolicking through the Organ Mountains. Eventually when the world was a little healed, we were able to adventure abroad. It was then and there 3 years ago that I realized I could combine my passion for traveling, nature, and photography and make it into a side career.

While my main career was teaching elementary special education for a few years, I spent most of my home life researching camera gear and taking courses to learn more about portrait photography. Fast forward to 2024, I welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Zion and I left my teaching career behind to become a FULL time photographer and mom.

P.S: You can buy prints of some of my favorite photos from my travels:

More about me

Along with nature and traveling, I've always loved stories. Reading them, writing them, listening to them from strangers and loved ones. Now it is a joy that I get to capture them through pictures.

Other hobbies that I pursue are critiquing cinema, baking, and practicing minimalism. Most days you can find me working and reading at a local cafe with my family or planning my next adventure. The evenings are spent binging anime with my husband, Isaiah and snuggling with our 2 cats. (Don't worry dog lovers, I'm a dog person too!)

Currently at the top of my bucket list is chasing the northern lights/waterfalls in Iceland AND exploring downtown Tokyo to find the best Japanese hole in the wall cuisines. (P.S If anyone wants to book a session here, book my flight and your session is on me!)
