An unforgettable White Sands Elopement
This elopement at White Sands was one of those days I’ll never forget. The light was perfect—golden, soft, and just warm enough for a fall evening. The kind of sunset that feels like it’s only showing up for you.
They had been long-distance for years, and this was finally the day they got to begin life together. Their closest family flew in from across the country, and friends even came in from London. It was small, intentional, and full of love—not in a cliché way, but in a real, grounded way that you could feel in every moment.
There were tears, laughter, and honestly THE best Filipino food I’ve ever had. They brought a Polaroid camera too (which if you know me, you know I’m all about vintage cameras), and it was fun watching guests snap little moments on film throughout the evening.
Since then, I’ve seen them run marathons, visit national parks, and travel the world together. And every time I catch a glimpse of their adventures, I think back to that sunset, those dunes, and the quiet beginning of a new chapter.
They’re incredibly kind, hard-working, and down-to-earth. Just really good people. I’m grateful I got to be there for the start of it all.
